About NIGEL

Nigel Dalton has enjoyed 35-years as a technologist, evangelist, inventor, startup-tragic, lean practitioner, and corporate executive. He worked around the globe in startups, scaleups and global enterprises - for AXA, Lonely Planet, then as CIO and Chief Inventor for REA Group.

Nowadays, Nigel is a social scientist for ThoughtWorks, startup co-founder in Melbourne, a Director of the Lean Enterprise Institute, and Chair of Lean Enterprise Australia. With a foot in each of Australia and NZ, he might just be Haumoana’s leading reader of books with the word ‘future’ somewhere in the title.
